The word "Erection" is in the US Constitution?

Article 1, Section 8, Cla

quote:

To exercise exclusive legislation in all cases, whatsoever, over such district (not exceeding ten miles square) as may, by cession of particular states, and the acceptance of Congress, become the seat of government of the United States, and to exercise like authority over all places purchased by the consent of the legislature of the state in which the same shall be, for the erection of forts, magazines, arsenals, dockyards and other needful buildings;.."

Post an odd "Did you know"

1. For humans and most primates, the philtrum survives only as a vestigial medial depression between the nose and upper lip. The human philtrum, bordered by ridges, is also known as the infranasal depression, but has no apparent function.

2. The perineum is the region between the scrotum and the anus in males, and between the posterior vulva junction and the anus in females.

When Texas declared independence, the new country claimed land all the way to the rio grande, including Santa Fe. An expedition of several hundred Texas troops was sent to inform the city that they were now Texans. Santa Fe disagreed, and the Texans were sent home empty handed.
