Exactly. Add to that the fact that practice/playing seasons are limited up north and the Northeast and Rust Belt have been experiencing a population decline over the last decade, and it spells a long tough road for the B1G.
I could see the Pac-16 or a reworked Big 12 challenging the SEC at some point. I would say the ACC, but I highly doubt the ACC will ever be anything beyond FSU, Clemson, Louisville, and maybe VT or Miami occasionally.
