What happened on the USC punt that touched a UT played and was recovered by USC?

I was at the game and the dipshit refs didn't explain anything after conferencing for 10 mins and only signaled first down UT. Did they decide it was touched by a USC play first? Or did the ball not touch the UT player?

They didn't show a replay on the jumbotron so I assumed the refs screwed the pooch and USC didn't want to piss the fans off by showing the evidence.

I want to know why it's okay to drag a QB around by his jersey ten seconds after a whistle.

USC touched it first on the replay. I don't know how the refs saw that initially but they did.

Yeah between the Thompson drag, AU's double numbers, Gurley's headbutt, Mauk's assault on an elderly man... SC just can't get the calls this year.

A South Carolina player touched the ball first which downs the ball. They showed the damn replay on TV.
