My grandfather sometimes refers to touchdown dances by black players as "nig jigs". I try not to laugh, but it's fricking hard.

My granddad used to call the Atlanta Falcons the "Falcoons". As a kid I thought he was just saying it to be funny. it eventually got shortened down to "the coons". As in "Im going to the coons game on sunday"

Thought nothing of it at the time. he also used to call brazil nuts "ni**a toes". My late mother in law did that too and meant nothing by it.
