This Vandy fan thought they had a good chance. Had Treadwell made it across the line without injury, they would have the hardest part of their schedule behind them until the Egg Bowl, and that's in Oxford.
Freeze is a damned good coach. I'm honestly not sure why so many people can't seem to accept that. Ole Miss has a history of futility, but they now have better talent and better coaching than they've had in decades. History has nothing to do with their chances on a contemporary level.

Only two plays and 7 points separate Ole Miss from being 9-0 (6-0 SEC). Seems like they have as much right to expect they could win it as anyone else. Am I right?

Don't try to rationalize with LSU kids. They do what they do and they can't help it. It's the norm in Louisiana to be a piece of shite to everyone you know. This is why every state around them thanks their lucky stars they don't live in Lousiana. And also hope to dear Jesus that another Katrina doesn't hit causing a bunch of them to relocate because everyone got fricked over in that deal. (Crime rates grew in every relocation city) amirite?

That was not a joke. And to be fair I said I hope nothing like that ever happens again. But literally anyone who payed attention after Katrina knows damn well that the places that took the bulk of relocated people had more problems that directly stem from it. That literally happened
