I'm never going to believe a theory that involves a college player being so terrified of injury that he avoids playing.
Lattimore had TWO HORRID injuries, even if a player had someone in his ear telling him to lay low for the draft, no one is going to be trying to avoid "injury" with the mindset that it will be like lattimore. Lattimore is the absolute worst case, the lightning bolt on a sunny day of injuries. You just can't live your life trying to avoid stuff like that.
