it's based upon watching the game and seeing their many mistakes that could have put you away, while your offense couldn't do jack shite against them on the road....just like at ole miss...but hey, you are bama, no worries...I'm sure this will be an easy game for you.

181 yards to Tennessee. 181 yards. You know how many combined yards Tennessee had against Ole Miss and Florida? 9. You know how many combined yards LSU had against Ole Miss and Florida? 459. Buga gonna get 200 at least.

well, that's an unfair comparison. Tennessee played a different QB in the Alabama game, a quarterback that accounted for about 80 yards on the ground. Tennessee QBs were sacked for a total of -45 yards against Florida and -45 against Ole Miss. Regardless, transitive comparisons are just stupid, especially comparing them to teams that don't run similar offenses. UT plays out of a spread. LSU does not.

How many times you think LSU will run a zone read as opposed to a direct handoff to the tailback?

Tennessee did that shite to us all day in the 2nd quarter on. There's a scheme difference that I've barely if not ever seen from LSU this year.

and you could argue arkansas has a better running game than Lsu.

you could argue that....but you could also argue that I have the biggest dick in the world. Wouldn't make it true...but you could argue it. Seriously, not trying to be a smartass.....but you are selling LSU very short....they have turned the corner this year, and defense is playing lights out and offense is better than ole miss......but hey..you are bama....no one can touch you.

We run it at least 5 times a game. Bet your arse it's coming after the coaches see the UT tape.

In LSU's 2 loses, did someone stopping their running game matter. The opponents offense trumped their running game. So, if Bama can play their offense and make no mistakes, the defense will take care of the rest.

Your point? None of those teams played against a Dobbs led Tennessee

I love how the big bad Alabama defense is turned into an upside down turtle if the opposition plays another player in a position.

Why do you think that your team is so dumb that you can't tell them "this guy runs" once and they get the message?

for starters, you are comparing the LSU team from early in the year to the LSU team right now...there are different people playing, and the young guys have grown up...they are playing light years better.

Secondly, I hope you aren't trying to compare your offense to that of MSU or Auburn???? Good god man....the same offense that on the road scored 10 on Ole Miss and 14 on Arkansas.....wow, I know you guys are arrogant...but your offense doesn't even resemble those two programs....damn....oh and btw......LSU the last 2 sec games has held two teams scoring in the mid 20 range, to an average of 5 points......I doubt your offense is better than that of ole miss or ky.

We are built to stop power running games like that. The rights won't bust 150. Better be able to pass.

just keep watching those rights

Our defense is predicated more on scheme and 'perfect' play-calls rather than just letting the players, well, play (ala Ole Miss). If the coaches don't have the appropriate film/evidence for certain formations/calls we are usually fricked.

You don't really see it that much anymore in this conference.

It's a big talent jump with LSU, too.

I don't think y'all will stuff us. We'll rush pretty well. And I think we'll be able to move the ball through the air decently too against Alabama's above average secondary.

This is going to be a great game. I think it's 50/50 who wins, tbh.

Well, I can promise you the LSU defense is night and day different from the MSU and AU games. This will be the best defense Bama has faced to date and yes I know y'all played Ole Miss.

That's hilarious. Better hope LSU doesn't play Harris or Kragthorpe or Clise! LSU could get 700 yards because an unexpected person took the snap!

Agreed. After LSU's initial campaign this year, I thought that we wouldn't have much problem getting through Bryant-Denny West with a win. The rapid improvement over the past few weeks has upped my concern to about an 8. If it was a home game, I would be much more confident, but it's evident that our offense struggles with communication away from home, and that is amplified by a night game at Tiger Stadium.

You see any of us besides the announcer continually saying "mighty Alabama?" The announcers kept saying that all night

it will be a good game, but that LSU is the best team you will have played this year up until this point.
I agree with this - it's going to be a great game, very physical and a hard fought game.

I almost throw out the Arkansas/Alabama game because both teams just looked awful doing pretty much everything.
