Looks a legitimate possibility with a relatively light remainder of schedule.
All they'll need is a UGA loss to AU.

Missouri will lose to Tennessee in Knoxville IMO.
Our D will shut them down and Dobbs will be able to get us enough points to get the W.
They will also be coming off a road trip to A&M while the Vols will be coming off a home game against Kentucky. Advantage Vols.

@A&M, @UT, and Arkansas are all teams capable of beating Mizzou. I think UGA's road is easier than Mizzou's, at this point. We at least get Auburn at home.

UK is also capable of beating Mizzou...

Auburn's schedule is brutal. They end with @UGA @Bama. Yikes

Mizzou will lose 3/4 of those games.

Missouri will not beat aTm or Arkansas. They may not win another conference game , period.

This year they look pretty Jekyll and Hyde to me.
Awesome one week, terrible the next.
A loss to IU at home though, that's pretty bad.

I think the Vols have a good chance of winning out and getting 7 wins. It all depends on if Dobbs plays or not. He was making plays that Woorley couldn't make all season. I just don't understand why we decided so late to give him the okay though.

Yeah because he have had so much trouble with A&M recently and because Arkansas is so outstanding with all of their moral victories which account to zero actual SEC wins. Not saying we will win the East but give me a break that A&M and Arkansas are good because they play in a division with good teams. That is like saying the Rams are good because they are in the NFC West.

Have you watched Mizzou? Their offense is abysmal.
They'll need Georgia to lose twice to have any chance. Only other game UGA can possibly lose is @Kentucky.
ETA: Missouri isn't that good.

I think Mizzou is getting to the part of their schedule where there is nowhere left to hide. You guys had one of the easiest schedules the first half of the season and squeaked past SC and Vandy. I see at least 3 more losses in your future.

Mizzou could run this table
Just like UGA, they don't play anybody they CAN'T beat...
And it does not matter, for the Georgia Bulldogs, EVERY game from here on out is a playoff elimination game.
If we get to Atlanta, we could feasibly beat any of the teams from the west. So could Mizzou - if a 2 loss East team wins the SEC, we COULD get shut out of the playoffs.
BUT, every West runner up team would have to have 2 losses. A 1 loss runner up from the SEC West probably gets in; unless there are 4 other conference champs AND Notre Dame with 1 loss of less (FSU)

not saying Mizzou can't lose that one, because we CAN lose any game, but your analysis is gobbledgy asian..
Your D will shut us down, what like the Gators D shut us down? Sure that really mattered.
UK probably has a stronger line both ways than A@M so you will be coming off a tuffer game as easily as us.
Your advantage is home field and that's it.

UK 2-3
A&M 2-3
TENN 0-4
ARK 0-4
Murderer's row.

yea UGA losing is the EASY part for us... the hard part is us winning out.
yea we could be the bad burrito that repeats, why don't you bet the farm on that, ok?
we're still as likely to lose one of those games as UGA is to lose to Barny.
