They are out to please as many people as they can but still look quasi-impartial.

I think to analyze the rankings with that one thought, it's a very fair assessment. Bama loses to a #3 team, OM loses to a #24 team, but Bama is ranked behind them.

Ultimately, it looks like Bama may still control its own future. I just am really interested in how the SECCG or any conference championship will play here.

Look at Oregon if they win out including their conference championship. If Bama and OM win out, then Bama gets no chance to play in our seccg, but oregon does. So does that mean that Bama, OM, Oregon and FSU go?

I don't know. This junk just makes my head hurt.
