All I want to know is who gets to hang a banner and print the shirts?

I'd actually be OK with this except for that losing to bama shite.

This seems very possible. And the tiebreaker scenario is something like strength of East schedule. Would be a shite show.

It would then go to who would have the best chance to win the Natty for the SEC and Bama would go.

Alphabetical order is the only fair tiebreaker here.

Reco of your east opponents.

We revert to 2007 rules. 2 Loss LSU plays for the championship

It would go to this tie breaker:
"Combined SEC record of the team’s cross-divisional opponents"
Right now:
AU = UGA, USCe combined 6-5
LSU = Florida, UK combined 4-6
Bama = Tenn, Florida combined 2-7
MSU = UK, Vandy combined 2-8
OM = Tenn, Vandy combined 0-9

Then the winner of the tiebreaker loses to Georgia in the title game and Bama goes to the playoffs again. Hurray for all!

Bama has never been to the playoffs.

I'm not even sure if it is mathematically possible, but I assume in a tie situation (let's say AU, LSU and Bama's pairs all end up at 8-8) they would eliminate MSU and OM and redo the tiebreakers.
What would happen now that the standings are still tied?
LSU, AU, Bama all 1-1 against each other with their East opponents combining for 8-8.
Somehow, I find this situation more plausible than the situation that put LSU in the NC in 2007.

Auburn goes with any tie breaker greater than two teams.

In that scenario:
Ole Miss and MSU are eliminated, thanks to Vandy going 0-8 in SEC play.
LSU - East opponents are Florida and Kentucky
Alabama - East opponents are Florida and Tennessee
Auburn - East opponents are Georgia and South Carolina
Current records of EAST opponents:
LSU - 4-6
Alabama - 2-7
Auburn - 6-5
Barring a massive push by Tennessee, Alabama is probably out as well.
That means it's now down to LSU and Auburn.
Auburn wins by virtue of the head to head.
5 teams are named SEC West Co-Champions
Auburn represents the West in the SECCG
Of course, Tennessee could win out, probably bumping LSU for Alabama. In that scenario, Alabama and Auburn are the last two standing. Alabama goes to the SECCG to represent the West. There are still 5 SEC West Co-Champs.

Keep in mind, the 3-way tie breaker ONLY applies until you're down to two teams. The goal is that, ultimately, the final consideration is head-to-head (except in extremely rare situations where a game between two teams is cancelled, like due to severe weather or such). The three way tie breaker is not meant to be the final say, only the method of getting down to two teams.

That's not how it works. No one is eliminated in that tiebreaker. It's just flat out who's East opponents are better. Which is Auburn.
We win any tie breaker that's consists of more than 2 teams right now.

Auburn would likely win the tiebreaker. The last tiebreaker would be combined SEC record of Eastern Division opponents. Since MSU and Ole Miss both played Vandy, they'd likely be at the bottom of this criterion. Since Auburn would be the only one to have played Georgia, they'd likely be at the top. LSU and Alabama would have to hope Florida and Kentucky (for LSU) or Tennessee (for Bama) go on a roll for the rest of the season, while Georgia and South Carolina (Auburn's Eastern Division opponents) go in the tank.
