Because it is still incredibly unlikely the disease would spread.

And I'd bet lots of money that a lot of people calling this chick selfish would be hollering about the government infringing on their rights.

I work with ESL kids that regularly come here directly from overseas. Several from Africa. If I was in contact with one of our students who was diagnosed with Ebola I'd have no problem with being
quarantined for the safety of my family, friends, etc.
