This. So the officials are conferring with someone on the phone, whatever. Frankly I hope they are relative to finer points concerning the rules. Periera admits in the article that he has no idea who they are talking to. It's all conjecture on his part.

I am much more concerned about consistency in the calls and in particular no-calls that could change the outcome of a game. Calls can be reviewed and the viewers can see the replays and decide for themselves if the call appears valid. No-calls by definition can't be reviewed.
