What happened was UGA made a deal with this guy....you all know Gurley took way more than $400...so uga said...you admit to paying him 400 and make a public apology and we won't sue you

The guy probably didn't know about the law protecting student athletes from being enticed to break NCAA bylaws. I have no idea though, that's just my guess.
