I don't get being all chummy with your instate rivals. It's just...as unholy a thought as I can imagine.

Can you imagine Bama and Auburn doing this...

Florida and Florida State?

SCar and Clemson? (When fricking hell freezes over..and probably not even then.)

Georgia and Georgia Tech?

etc, etc....

It's just..wrong. On so many levels.

Many Mississippi families have a mix of both Ole Miss and State fans and/or graduates. I have quite a few friends who went to State as well. Plus, on here, when both have been at the bottom for so long, it's nice to see the two schools from the smallest state in the SEC be at the top for the time being.
