I thought Mett had NFL bust all over him at the draft. He's a one-read QB who locks on to his receiver and can rarely check down. He had almost zero pocket presence combined with being glacially slow. Not a good combination. He also seemed to be a social negate with very little connection with his teammates. I always thought Landry and Beckham, Jr. made Mett, not the other way around.
NFL QBs with huge arms are like PGA pros who are long off the tee. A great skill only as long as you have the rest of the game.

So, so wrong.

quote:I don't know that I have ever seen a player so horribly misevaluated. Basically every commentator who broke him down was just drooling over his passing ability. Iirc, he led the nation in completions beyond 10 yards. FROM A LES MILES OFFENSE. Heck, he even looked good in the preseason. Poor man's Ryan mallett? Good grief

I'm trying to think of how this could be any more wrong, but I am failing.
