Because baseball isn't a contact sport and muscle growing too quickly in relation to bone growth doesn't put them at as high a risk of injury.

Another reason is where the weight is gained, and what groups are used most. You don't see a baseball player juicing and squatting 650, they gain most of the mass in their upper body and torso, the groups they are using most. Whereas a football player is going to perform leg and full body lifts far more than anything else. Joints in the legs are at a higher risk of injury because legs are longer, putting more stress on those joints. Work in the weight room both strengthens the large muscle groups in the legs as well as those joints. When you introduce a substance, your muscle growth accelerates but your body can't support bone growth fast enough to keep up.

You can see where this is going. In short, your leg muscles getting super strong while your bones and ligaments are developing slower is going to result in blowing a knee.

Yeah b/c no one ever blows out a knee. While we are at this, i have some land you would likely be interested in. You seem to believe anything someone tells you.

By the way save the physiology lesson. I understand the concept of too much muscle, but that has never stopped people from using steroids and it never will.
