Analysis: Now, nobody knows just how hurt Matthews is and how much that ankle is affecting him. What we do know is that he doesn’t look good out there right now. These past three weeks have been tough to watch, propelling Matthews to the lowest grade of all tackles. Not what Atlanta had hoped for.
In his defense, Blalock hasn't been doing much either, and he has gone up against Jared Allen (and willie young who is tied for 2nd most sacks), Jason Pierre-Paul, and the Ravens D.
But I think he looks bad because the entire offense looks bad.

I remember so well the Aggie "bust" talk with regard to Greg Robinson.

Honestly, I an a bit worried about Matthews. All of the returning Aggie o-line starters look worse this year. It might have been easier to pass block when defenses didn't want to get to Johnny because he would run right around them.
