Nutt came in, had junior and senior classes stocked with NFL talent in 08/09, and won 18 games in those 2 yrs. But honestly, he lost several he shouldn't have like Vandy, wake, and USCe in 08, as well as USCe, Auburn, and State in 09.

After that, his laziness on the recruiting trail and in team discipline began to show, his shitty fricking strength coach did not develop the players physically in any way, and our OL play just tanked under his buddeh Mikey Markuson.

Yes, he brought in some MS kids that are serious players for us now like Golson, Prewitt, CJ, Bennett, and DT- BUT go look at his classes as a whole. They are chock full of guys who were complete busts. I could reel off 15-20 names off the top of my head who were complete duds. As in, never made any sort of impact.

The team fell even further behind in 2011 and just quit giving a frick - just like Hootie. He and his staff quit recruiting after the week 2 loss at Vandy. They knew they were gone and they just checked the frick out the rest of the year.

So once again, the fact that Freeze has us anywhere near where we are is nothing short of amazing.

I can understand the hate if he just quit on y'all his last year.. Quit recruiting & all that.. What happened in 2010? Y'all had some talent. Was that just straight up bad coaching?

ETA: didn't realize Nutt recruited y'all's senior class this year. I guess it just seems like Freeze has been there longer.
