If not we have to at least be in the conversation. These guys definitely haven't gotten the credit they deserve.
Currently we are:
1st in the conference in rushing yards (12th nationally)
7th in the country in sacks allowed with only 10
Also, UGA and Mich St. are the only teams in power 5 that have 1100+ passing and 1800+ rushing
I could not find any exact stats on offensive line penalties but remembering back I don't recall too many. Will Friend has improved dramatically and has really done a great job working with the incredible skill players we have and providing Hutson Mason the much needed time in the pocket. What do you guys think?

We have a lot of depth. When that 4th quarter rolls around, we're still fresh, and it's showing in a big way.
Here's to Theus staying another year.

hmmm, maybe the best run OL...Mason seemed a bit hurried this past saturday when he wanted to pass

I think it's a stretch to say they're arguably the best, but I do think they're arguably in the top 10. The best part is that 4 of our starters and 6 of our 8 man rotation are returning (if Houston gets his eligibility waiver). Losing a leader like Andrews will hurt, but Wynn has worked a little at Center or Kubs could slide down. We should still have a real good line next year, too.

One of the better run blocking lines we've ever had. Still a meh pass blocking OL.

Certainly I am a Disney to the nth degree, and our OL has DEFINITELY improved. However, I would temper this a bit.
1. One reason our sacks are down is because we don't throw the ball much.
2. We are one of two teams wih 1800 rushing and 11oo passing because we run the ball so much. MOST teams (Outside of run only teams) have 1100 yards passing at this point. 1800 yards rushing...not so much.
3. And of course we are #1 in rushing in the SEC because we run the ball so much.
While the OL IS improved, I'm not sue it is in the top 5 or 6.....but who knows. maybe it is. The entire team seems to have anew tougher attitude. Credit Pruitt, Richt, whoever you want...it is refreshing.

Obviously different personnel...but between last year and this year we've had prolific passing and running offensive production. This couldn't happen without great line play.
