Those little frickers are no joke. Hurt like hell and the worst is yet to come. When the flesh starts being affected by the venom...that's when the real pain starts.

It really matter where you get bitten. At that point of the mouth you are right next to blood beneath the skin. It is why folks get knocked out in boxing. I can hit you there or just below where the jaw is at rest and you feel it. If your cardio is already up and then I hit same spot you are out cold.
Had a friend in TX who was bitten on his toe by a black widow. Got him to the hospital and treatment. Doc said if bite had been in the chest around the heart we might not have been so lucky. On a positive note the dude always checked his boots when we went camping after that.
