I think 8 teams plus use the BCS formula. I realize that adds an extra game, but would make it more interesting. However, I could still live with four using the BCS formula.

I just think it's too many. If after 12 regular season games and a conference championship you're only 8th, you don't deserve to play for a title.

That's what makes CFB the greatest sport out there, the regular season means somethign (please, don't turn this into a 2011 debate). In the NFL you can go barely above .500 and still win the super bowl just for getting hot and winning 3 games.

It would just suck, IMO, to go 12-0 and win your conference title, then turn around and have to play 3 more games to "prove" how good you are. You've already done it all season.
