Another thing I noticed is that Ole Miss started to cheat up when they realized that Blake wasn't completing very many of his passes. Combine that with our injured center and a very good Ole Miss defense and you had a dysfunctional running game in the second half.

Our o-line is not 2012 where we could tell the opponent we were running at them and dare them to stop it. We needed our quarterback to take some pressure off of the line and he couldn't do it. Credit to the OM defense for taking away a lot of the easy passes he had depended on all year.

If you're going to be successful at running the ball, you will need to have a passing game that Ole Miss defense respects.

Yeah that's accurate. Sims is also a better much better passer than Marshall so hopefully we can find the same success on D.
