The 16 team system with a selection committee will still have its problems.

Now, you make 16 conferences, and you remove the mess. That said, you'd bust up teams from traditional conferences, creating ill will in the process.

Every fix creates a new set of problems. The fix that'll stick won't be what's best for the fans. No, it'll be what makes the NCAA and its member schools the most money.

At that point, one must decide if they are enjoying the product, and vote with his or her remote...

Just me but 16 is too many IMO... 8 teams with the 1st game on campus of the higher seeded team should be enough. Any more than 8 devalues the regular season IMO...

If it's 8 #9 will bitch, if it's 16, #17 will bitch etc...

Any more than 8 (maybe 16) you gotta cut 1 regular season game off the schedule unless they just drop the pretense of being a Student-Athlete org...

You're right. 16 teams means we have the NFL problem of last couple games meaning shite for some teams...and if you have automatic bids for conference championships, then it could be even worse. Imagine if the Clemson and GT games didn't mean a damn thing for us this year.
