Because you won't be back for 15 years and your fanbase wanted to see the grove. We have 2 more home games that are bigger. It was still one of the largest crowds in stadium history.

Oxford's vicinity to Memphis and other parts of Tennessee. I know a lot of UT fans that headed down there for the game from Memphis.

UT always brings alot of fans. I saw the "1/3" claim today on twitter and just rolled my eyes, knowing it would end up over here eventually.
Based on what I saw on TV and having talked to friends in attendance, that's just not accurate whatsoever. Don't get me wrong, they brought a great crowd as always, but 20k? Gimme a break.
But hey, if it makes them feel better after watching their QB spray-fart all over the field Saturday night, let em have it.

It was probably 10k tennessee fans, perhaps a tad more. Nowhere close to 1/3 rumor that your lying coach started. I'm glad we scored that last TD on him.

How many tickets were allocated, with SEC approval, to UT?
