Must be a conference retread, doesn't matter what they're doing now as long as they're not dead.

Some sample choices:



GENE CHIZIK

Former: Auburn
SEC Win %: .46
Resume: 1 NC, 1CC



TOMMY TUBERVILE

Former: Auburn, Ole Miss
SEC Win %: .56
Resume: 1 CC, 5 Division Titles



TERRY BOWDEN

Former: Auburn

If I'm hiring one of those, it's Petrino (only for his football coaching skills), or Urban.

Even if all were hypothetically available, it would depend upon the school, as to which guy. Some schools/HCs make for better fits than would others.

Ranging from Administrations, ADs, Athletic Budgets , In-State Talent, East/West Divisions, School/State's MO as whether an more dominant Offensive or Defensive Program historically,etc..

Naturally, Urban, Petrino, and Tubby, should rank, in no set order as the top three.

I'd choose Petrino over the other two, due to age, and still a seemingly stronger desire to hit his career's highest watermark yet still.

If were talking a legit and current Heavyweight in say Bama/LSU/Aub/Fla/UGa, that could possibly steal him away from PSU, I'd choose Franklin #1..he's infectious!
