Agreed but I do think when we play with a lead we have some pretty predictable playcalling.

For instance, we went 3 and out 3 times in a row yesterday after the half and gave Arkansas a pulse. The playcalling was run, run, throw or run, run , run in which we failed on 3 straight drives vs 9/10 in the box. Arkansas was desperate and instead of putting the game out of reach we let them hang around to make a costly interception that ended up putting the game out of reach. The 3rd down throw from Mason to Conley was great.

I guess what I am trying to say is we need to be able to rely on Mason when teams get desperate and shut down our run game.

I don't mind the playcalling. I mean when you're up 32 it's only natural to let off the gas some.

The thing is, in that scenario the last thing you want is to give the other team momentum and a turnover is a surefire way to do that. You simply want that clock to run as much as possible. I'm ok with us going conservative and killing some clock, and when things got a little hairy, we threw a beautiful pump and go to the endzone.

Ehh, that's probably as much Richt's philosophy than Bobo. We are going to keep it simple with a lead, and it frustrates me to no end as well, but it's what he believes in.
