Ole Miss whupped us, but they did it much more conventionally...they only ran 63 offensive plays (we ran 75)...I can recall Verne or Gary saying that Freeze mentioned to them that, against elite teams (his words, not mine), he wouldn't depend on the hurry-up as much since he some times found it counterproductive. While the Ole Miss schemes, particularly the trips formation in the second half, gave us trouble, it wasn't due to the HUNH...
