quote:this is ridiculous. fla has 5 times the resources that state has. they can get better players. they have better facilities. they have lots more money. they have much more exposure. they have more tradition. I can't believe some people are actually suggesting that he not go to fla because he's just fine at state. there's NO COMPARISON between the 2. fla has the biggest or 2nd biggest budget in the conference.
He is doing the same things at State that he could do at Florida
quote:absolutely, no question. however, coaches want to win on the biggest stage and that means taking the pressure jobs. every pressure job like fla that opens up has coaches line up for miles to get in the door. those are places where the biggest reputations are made and they all want a crack at it.
With a much looser leash
quote:which of course means nothing if fla comes open and he's interested.
Mullen could go 0-12 the next two years, but if he gets State in the playoff this year, a golden statue of his will be made next to Davis-Wade.

This seems to be the point that most stupid bitches like you don't understand. This team is loaded with 2-3* players that Mullen evaluated and saw something that others didn't. It is beneath most schools to recruit the relative no-names that Mullen has built this team with. You should be scared shitless that your coach couldn't find talent like we have with a fricking guide.
