Something my buddy pointed out to me that nobody has mentioned here that I've seen is about moving bennett. We've all been excited about MM and JSW being back so they can run deep, which is fine. But the REAL benefit is moving bennett back to the slot. He simply isn't an outside guy that's going to stretch a defense, that's not his game. He has always excelled in the middle matched up on LBs or 3rd/4th CBs. On his first half TD against missouri where mason threw that pretty ball to the corner it was bennett in the slot. That is going to make things so much easier for mason going forward, IMO.

Loved the work Mitchell got in the Mizzou game, too.

Some easy pitch and catch getting him used to game speed and getting hit.

I'm looking for Bobo to do some hitch and go routes with Mitchell this Saturday as they start to open up the entire playbook to him again.

Completely agree that this is probably the most significant aspect of getting Mitchell and JSW back. Just as important as actually having them playing. As you said, he isn't the type of WR you expect to get separation vs a team's #1 CB, and that's not a knock on him at all. And forcing them to account for him seems to open up the game for the TE too if last week is any indication.

And aside from Bennett catching the ball, now he can be the guy blocking on those quick passes when we run them, which is a very very underrated part of his game.
