Damn A&M and their moral victory points

Beaver doesn't think Pruitt's any good

OM's ones have scored more TDs than they've given up. So there's that.

If the way our defense has played is wrong, I don't want them to be right.

Crazy that Georgia has been able to contain those explosive offenses in the east

Miss states 1'1's are as good as anyone's. Their pass defense is a little skewed since almost everyone they've played has had to throw the ball to catch up.
From top to bottom ole miss has the best defense in the sec

Tennessee's defense has been a very pleasant surprise this year. It will only get better next year as well.
I'd take one of OM or State if I had to pick the best defense this year.

Tennessee is over-achieving considering how young they are on defense.

Alabama's D is just now starting to come into its own too. Love it.

TN's defense is pretty damn strong. Unfortunately, we very well might have the worst offense in the league.
Which really leads me to believe our D is even better than the ranking in the OP. The O can't stay on the field, and we're still ranked in the top 20 nationally for scoring and total D.

You're talking about yards, bro. It doesn't matter if you gain 70 yards on a drive if you get down there and stall without putting it into the endzone.
Red Zone defense:
2. Mississippi State
12. Auburn
42. Ole Miss
.
.
.
Everyone Else
These are 3 pretty good teams, so I think you see where defensive statistics can be misleading.
