When was the last time a team not ranked in preseason attained #1 status in both polls.

MSU and Auburn, I wish that game would have gone on and on.

I think the Barn keeps Malzahn, but nobody stays in Starkville.

I'm impressed with the time span too. We're only half way through the season. Only time will tell how long they can sustain it.

Missouri in 2007 got to #1 in the AP, after being unranked in the preseason poll.

They never reached #1 in the Coaches, however.
