Year 3 - Why are "Black Mack's" teams getting worse?

Black Mack's biggest win at Kyle Field was against Vanderbilt last year.
How is Freeze getting it done in a state that doesn't have a lot of talented recruits?
Freeze's defense has improved and his wins have gone up in each season. Black Mack's defense has remained the same, but the wins keep dropping.
Black Mack is more like Gene Chizik. You can only live off a GOAT QB for so long.

The crazy thing is they gave him a raise to 5 million bucks... they'd have to mortgage Kyle field to get out from under his contract.
