Posting equivalence of ignorant.
For starters the schools and NCAA ( NCAA really makes zero off football ) don't make anything off the backs of these athletes. They make money off a program and game they INVESTED IN 100-120 years ago, by building stadiums, paying for athletes way to college, spending money that IN THOSE DAYS were probably placing colleges in the black, or in the hole. The college are now reaping the benefits of what the BUILT UP or SOWED.
I could give a damn if Gurly oe JFF ever played a down of football, move over and let someone have your scholarship if it isn't good enough for you. People love their schools, as evidence by me watching Bama golf or Bama Softball.
As for the kids signing autographs and making money, ARE YOU THAT NAIVE? REALLY?
The first thing a booster will tell a recruit is, I will pay you 100k for your " Wink Wink " signature if you come to Bama, then the Auburn banker will offer 125 k for the recruits signatures, if he will only sign with Auburn.
Anyone that can't see this us stupid as the day is long.
If you don't want ti play for the scholarship, get your azz on down the road.
Ignorance is bliss.

Maybe the athletic scholarship should just disappear and the players should just walk on and if a coach or a booster wants to pay some kid to walk on and play for whomever, then so be it, and then the player should report the pay or gifts as income and if they don't then it's between them and the IRS.
