I say no at this point. LSU may be lucky to win 3.

From an outsider's perspective, I think getting a winning record in conference play this year will be tough.
I can see them salvaging a .500 season though. Wins over Florida, Kentucky and Arkansas.
That leaves them having to win 1 out of Bama, Ole Miss and aTm. Bama in BR will be a hard fought game; LSU has shown the last couple of years they can contain Sumlin's offense. I say they split those and lose to Ole Miss.

Just because a legitimate discussion upsets you, doesn't mean it's a troll.

I think LSU's only hope against Ole Miss is for Bo to have one of his bad games. We cannot defend spread running teams this year.

shite, the way we are playing, I would be surprised if LSU won 2, much less all 3.

That's why I like college football, it's usually quite surprising.
I like LSU's chances v Mississippi at home, especially if the Tigers can get a win on the road this weekend against the Gators, and a win at home against UK. That would give the young team the confidence they need to finish the season strong. I also think that Ole Miss' relative weaknesses play to LSU's strengths, and vice versa. Plus it's at home.
I think Bama is just too balanced, although I'm not totally willing to concede this one as a loss, it just seems to be the most likely. But again, it's a home game where anything can happen.
A&M is probably the next likeliest loss being on the road. However, if LSU is 7-3 or 8-2 going into College Sta., the Tigers may have the confidence to gel as a team and take it to the aggies.
The pigs on the road is going to be a tough game, no doubt. But I think LSU ends the season just like they started it - a tough, close win against a B1G team.

No,LSU is Ole Miss this year. A losing SEC record is prrobable

worst case - 0-8
best case - 3-5

Unlikely.
Alabama and Ole Miss are clearly better.
Aggies on the road is a tough spot. Arkansas is a bad matchup with a young front of DTs and an undersized defense.
Flordia is a toss up at this point, but I think LSU gets the win. Kentucky is playing well but just as young but with less natural talent.
I think LSU gets to 3-5 somehow. Finishes 7-5 and gets valuable practice for their effort.

I think they only win 3.

Probably not, but we have to get a lot of momentum going against Florida and UK to have a shot

1-7. They do have Arkansas on the schedule.

No, you're right.
I can't keep all these rivalry games straight.

What do you think are OM's weaknesses and LSU's strengths?

LSU has struggled to stop the run. Limiting Alex Collins will be a tough task for LSU.

Well Ole Miss doesn't have a great running game, so that is good for our matchup. Hopefully Bo doesn't pull his best Joe Montana impression like last year.
To answer OP's question, I think we go 4-4 or 3-5 in conference this year.
