He's better than Chizik IMO

I have yet to see anything from him that shows that he is anything other than a medicore coach.

Solid recruiter, but I still have no idea what their offensive identity is. Are they up-tempo? Are they a run team? Are they a throw team? Honestly, I have no idea.

And people keep talking about their O-line like its 4 freshmen and it will all pay off in the end.......they have 2 freshmen who were not elite signees and the other guys just suck. This year is not some sort of building block for the future on the O-line. It's just bad.

That's the question most of us are asking. We are 17 games into the Butch era and I'm still not sure what type of O they want to run. We have all the personnel to be a under center, power run team that can beat you deep off play action yet they want to run a hurry up, no read option, dink and dunk when we do not have the right pieces for that.

This isn't his fault imo. This falls directly at Dooley's feet for taking zero OL in the 2012 class. Butch has a good OL class committed right now but that is obviously the last place you want to put a True freshman in at.

Yea we look different every week offensively. My only guess for it is because he doesn't have all the pieces in place in two areas to run the zone read. O-Line and QB. Not a single O-Linemen started last year. At QB we have a guy who never ran that style of offense till last season and he really just isn't fast enough to pull it and run it. I honestly feel like they try to adapt their offense in game based on what they feel is the best way to move the ball. At UGA we had a nice balance. Agaisnt Florida our line got pushed around preventing any run game or vertical passing game so we were left dinking and dunking it. Its evident to me that we don't have the talent and or coaching like an Auburn to run a consistent style of offense regardless of who we play. Just my 2 cents.
