I have this eery feeling that our secondary is about to get torched. I think the Noon (11am) kickoff favors the Dawgs just a little.... but I know Mizzou is going to be ready after their BYE week. Dawgs D looked very mediocre against Vandy, so don't let the 44-17 score fool you.
Honest Prediction:
Mizzou 31
UGA 27

One team will win by 3. Your guess is as good as mine as to which one it will be.

UGA wins. Mizzou won't be able to stop Gurley

No one will be watching, who cares.

Oh God, can we not? It's Sunday, can I at least decide how I feel about yesterday first? Probably won't change my doom and gloom but still.

Gurley will get his yards.
But so will Mauk.
Mizzou - 41
Georgia - 31

Ah what the hell
Gurley goes wild for 197 yards and 3 TDs
We enter the Ramsey as he accounts for 2 TDs
IMac makes a brilliant return for a TD
Dawgs 45
Tigers 40

My heart goes with the Dawgs but if I take that out of the equation I go with Mizzou b/c of home field and b/c of Mauk vs our secondary.

We're not very good outside of Gurley. Luckily, Mizzou isn't very good either and they don't have a player like Gurley.
I actually think that is a good match up for our offense. The strength of Mizzou's D is their pass rush. The effectiveness of it should be reduced given our offensive strategy. We're going to load up and run the ball right at Ray and Golden, I would imagine. Mizzou rush D has been hit and miss. Indiana abused them there, but improved against USCe.
Given that Mizzou's offense hasn't looked great this year, I would say it's a good match up for our D as well. But Tennessee statistically has a worse offense and they lit us up...at home.
Both teams turn it over rarely and are merely average at creating TOs.
I think the 11 am kickoff works in our favor. Really lessens the noise factor. I even think that Mizzou's bye week fell at an inopportune time for them - seemed like they just lost the momentum they gained from the USCe game.
Mizzou fans, what is your injury situation like? Specifically, your WRs?
I'll take us to win, 34-31
