Not saying it will happen or that I want it to...just a hypothetical.

Texas hates Charlie Strong right? Let's get him.

Me. I would love a job where i can make 4 million a year while working 20 hours a week, hire my kids to fat part time jobs as well, and drink on the job.

I'm in no rush to see Spurrier leave, even with his brilliant 4th quarter play calling meltdowns, he brings so much spotlight to the university.. That said, he will leave one day and judging by this season that day will come sooner than later. I can feel it..

I like Charlie Strong and Mark Dantonio but they're both in their 50s.. Personally I think we need younger. A younger coach will light a fire in a fanbase that definitely loves fiery coaches.. but here's what I think of Strong.. Strong is fiery and he'd be a hit here at SC, especially with the recruits... I hate to play the race card, but I'm black and you're hearing it from me.. a black HC at the University of South Carolina would send shockwaves through the south east and would make SC that much more attractive to elite young, black recruits in SC, NC, GA and Florida.. Strong has the personality as well. Bring in Strong at HC and two hotshot up and coming 30-ish coordinators for OC/DC and that's your plan. As far as coordinators, I don't think SC is that attractive to steal a Spavital from A&M or a Lashlee from Auburn.. so what we need to do is find really good young head coaches at the lower levels of FBS that have the fire to recruit and want to prove themselves as capable of coaching in the FBS P5 .... OR .. we can go all out and throw lots of money at proven coordinators at P5 schools..
