Assuming JSW and Mitchell play this weekend, who-if anyone- gets bumped out of the starting lineup?

Hopefully Hudson Mason.

I've been hearing the notion of measuring how Mason performs with all his weapons back... If there isn't a significant improvement, you'll start to see more of Ramsey before he eventually takes the reigns as our starting QB.

I kind of doubt either JSW or MM will start, but assuming they did, I think you'd have Conley as the 3rd receiver and Bennett as 4th. However, that order all depends on whether you're trying to go more speed or possession. On third and medium, if we throw, I'd imagine MM, JSW, CC, and MB would be out there, but on first down, maybe you'd see Isaiah Mckenzie or Reggie Davis for their speed. Just my 2cents.

Not so fast my friend. Conley is a better receiver than JSW.

Disagree. Conley may do little things like blocking and route running better, but JSW gets more separation because of his athleticism. They're pretty equal if you added each of their skills up but I'll take JSW. Speed kills.

blocking
Very important in an offense where you cant throw it more than 10 yards.

Better hands too. He can make the tough catch in traffic.

Never said it wasn't important. But I'm curious to see if those deep routes we couldn't sniff the first few weeks all of a sudden become more common on Saturday because the receivers have better separation. Take Mason's second interception against Tenn. I love Conley for all he does on and off the field but it would literally have taken a Manningesque throw because he doesn't have the blow-by ability and/or the moves at the line to gain separation. That being said it didn't matter because Mason made a bad throw but maybe he would have thrown a deeper ball (his noodle arm willing) if Conley had beaten his man.

Yeah I mean JSW definitely is an asset. I think we will see a lot of Conley, Bennet, and MM as the 3 main wide receivers and JSW more as a slot receiver and maybe out wide on obvious passing downs. What do I know though.

Why don't we see if JSW has even got all his speed and athleticism back before we say he's better than Conley. I'm not getting my hopes up for neither him or MM after seeing how Marshall preformed.

I know you probably didnt mean to respond to me but I think Conley is the best WR on the team.

If this is true. We are in serious trouble. He has been invisible so far this season. I think he is a good complimentary receiver but he just have the speed/skills to be the main guy.
