I understand your points, even if I do not agree with them. There is no "advantage" to Bonfire, Silver Taps or senior boots, either. But they have been part of the Aggie experience for more than 100 years. So has the Texas game.
Fortunately, it is THEM refusing to play US, so we don't really have to address the issue at this time.
But if they ever stop pouting and express an interest in resuming the game, I really hope that we will not allow the practical concerns you have expressed (all of which are heavy with self-interest) to prevent a renewal. It would just seem ...small. It would reek of "little brother."

I wouldn't be against playing, but never on T-Day weekend again. That is LSU's weekend now, they can play us in September and eat that TCU/Tech shite sandwich on Thanksgiving forever.
