You bring pressure in 2nd- and 3rd-and-long situations, when the offense is likely going to pass. If you blitz the QB on a play when they're running, you're looking at a potential cluster frick.

like we've seen over and over and over since the Martinez days and Shockley was our QB.

we don't have the personnel.
