How would you solve the problem? If I'm an OC game planning against UGA that's exactly the matchup I'm gonna exploit.

It's a tough throw if the LB stays in his hip pocket. If the qb can make the throw, you have to disrupt the passing lane at the los and disguise coverages.

You have to mix your coverages up. Want to keep the offense the offense honest? Then you disguise your D and drop into a cover 3, taking away the seam/post route. Every single defensive scheme has a weakness that offenses can exploit. The same can be said for offensive schemes. It's a chess match, really. If you run cover 2 all game, they'll hit you with the deep passes down the middle. If you run cover 3 all game, they'll throw underneath. If you man-up and run zero coverage, they can kill you with hitch-and-go's, out routes, or just a simple go with a guy who is faster than your CB. The way to combat it is to switch up your coverage; you'll have plays where the Offense has the perfect play call against your D, you just have to hope your athletes can make plays. There isn't a magical fix that guarantees a TFL, sack, or interception on every play of the game.
Honestly, our LBs were in decent position on most every play that has been highlighted in this thread. Sometimes a QB just makes a perfect throw and there's not much you can do. As I said earlier, MOST inside backers will always be at a disadvantage in man-coverage...it's not what they're used to doing.
