Hurd has impressed the committee with his hard nosed running, but his yards per touch numbers were too low to put him ahead of others at this point.
However, his two best games have come against UT's best competition, so he is rightfully knocking on the door.

He's improved every game, and honestly, that's all you can ask of a true freshman.
I know it's been said a number of times, but what he's done behind our OL is extremely impressive.
