Why would Harbaugh go anywhere but back to Michigan?

Dan Mullen! If I were a Florida fan, this is who I would want. He has been there before as a OC, and hell, he has turned Mississippi State into a respectable program. Plus I believe they have a legit shot at getting him to leave Starkville.

Don't get me wrong, I would love all you UF fans to expect a Harbaugh, Gruden, Saban, etc. Will make the melt when you hire a McNeill all the better.

He is at Arizona State. How easy do you think it is to win there? Meyer went 17-6 in the MAC, how would that translate to the SEC?

You conveniently left out that 22-2 record at Utah. Now stop making me defend that assh*le.

Exactly! Why would Saban go to Texas?

No reason, but fans are idiots.

And his record at BGSU didn't mean he couldn't be a great coach at a big time program. Nick Saban was 34-24 at Michigan State. Les Miles was 28-21 at Oklahoma State. Where they are coaching matters when looking at record alone.

If he went 21-10 in the Pac 12, that would translate to maybe 18-13 or 17-14 in the SEC.

So what your saying is Muchamps 24-17 record would be 32-9 in the PAC 12.

Champ gonna get a PAC 12 job an become a GOAT PAC 12 coaching legend.

He's pissed that Michigan hired Rich Rod instead of him. But, no one is saying Harbaugh is going to be our next coach. It's purely speculation. I just said I'd offer him whatever he wants to get a coach like him.

Would you guys seriously be happy with Todd Graham as our next coach? really?
Man, we just may be headed to UT or UK's level sooner rather than later.

Would he be my first choice? No, but outside of getting a really big name, I think he would be a good hire. He is an established head coach who has a history of winning with exciting offenses.

Would you be happy with another coordinator?

That's how programs like Tennessee become irrelevant, they settle. You've got to make a splash. You've got to find a good coach and more importantly a great recruiter.
Now of course I do realize that is much easier said than done.

Of course not. But would a guy like Todd Graham (a coach most fans have to Google to find out who he is) come into Fla. and get the big time recruits? No he wouldn't.

Urban had no ties to Florida and came in and got big time recruits.

Good point. But Old Urb went undefeated on national TV beating Pitt in the Fiesta Bowl, I believe?
Todd Graham on the other hand had a team score 62 on him the other night on national TV.

I think you should go for value over talent. I will do the job for 1/3 of Muschamp's salary and do at least as good of a job.

Tenn settled with Dooley because of when he was hired. UF should have all season to make calls and get the best realistic option possible.

From the outside UF doesn't seem like a program that is comfortable paying a coach $6 million+ a year but that is what it would take to get a splash coach. I think solid is better than splash as UF still has a good brand.
