Posted by Prof on 10/1 at 1:22 am to Wishnitwas1998 Uh yeah, sorry guys. Much like New Orleans, and Texas this one is our fault again. Like directly our fault - the very same Tennessee Volunteers who fought the Battle of New Orleans kinda decided to conquer Florida without permission: "Jackson's army was sent to Florida where, without orders, he deposed the small Spanish garrison. This led directly to the treaty which formally transferred Florida from Spain to the United States." Think we can give it back to Spain? Our main complaint with them is they couldn't keep it line so we took it from them. This post was edited on 10/1 at 1:28 am Reply • Options • Back to Top

It's started boys and girls. If you're anywhere near Knoxville or just here in spirit you can feel the energy rising all around you. The tension is building, excitement permeates the air this 1st day of October. Neyland is calling Vol Nation to assemble, to make preparations for battle, to fortify our battlements and for every man, woman, and child to join the fight.

On the wind you can smell the sweet taste of victory coming on our way. It overpowers the stench of the reptilian horde -- those who slouch towards our homeland thinking their mere presence will cause us to lose heart and abandon our stations. Those who know not what awaits them.

The decade has turned and the orange and white have been awakened from their long nightmare, angry and wrathful. Vengeance is on the lips of a nation - the cry for blood payment will not go unheard nor unrealized.

It's time.
