Uh yeah, sorry guys. Much like New Orleans, and Texas this one is our fault again. Like directly our fault - the very same Tennessee Volunteers who fought the Battle of New Orleans kinda decided to conquer Florida without permission: "Jackson's army was sent to Florida where, without orders, he deposed the small Spanish garrison. This led directly to the treaty which formally transferred Florida from Spain to the United States."

Think we can give it back to Spain? Our main complaint with them is they couldn't keep it line so we took it from them.
