He reacted quickly, but a lot of times when you don't you end up dead.

Protip for anyone reading this thread: Never reach back into your car for anything, if a gun is pulled on you just lie down.

Specially in Murica.

Dude went back into his car with a quickness. It seems it would be common sense not to do that. I always state exactly what movements I'm going to make beforehand and make it known there is a handgun on the seat.

With all that said, the cop is 100% at fault. He didn't direct the suspect on what to do. He just said "let me see your license". He was trained to stay in control as peacefully as possible and failed miserably.

The officer reacted way too quickly. He should be fired and charged with attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon with the intent to cause serious bodily harm, and endangering the public because he missed 3 or 4 shots.

officers like that have no place on the streets and simply put are a thug with a badge

Yea, I am usually on the cops side but that was extreme. I know there are dangers but if you do not want to face those dangers, don't be a cop. It exists every day
