He wasn't the sole OC at USC and when he was the head coach their offense was abysmal.
He has done well so far at Bama, but its been 4 games.
I don't think he should be considered top 5 at the moment, so no.

Kiffin hasn't done anything that screams he was a bad hire - it looks like he's done a fine job with Blake Sims and he's slowly incorporating OJ Howard into the offense which is great IMO.
There's alot of football left to be played and I haven't seen an SEC defense that concerns me too much thusfar.
