These things happen. As per SEC by laws Indiana will be mentioned every time someone talks about your football team for a period of not less then 6 months and not to exceed 2 years. Then the conference will pretend it never happened.
A decent run in conference and a quality bowl win can reduce the sentence.

Bull fricking shiat. It will never fully go away and the better the run, the LONGER the sentence. See Alabama/ULM or LSU/UAB.
