Is is just me or is anybody else worried that at some point this season, he will have a "freshman" type performance?

Maybe just the slow starts the last two weeks. I also think having Mathews back at center will help a ton.

Thoughts?

Umm... it's just you.

He hasn't been perfect, but he's level-headed enough that I just can't see him having a crappy game.

Having Mike back will help us score more than 58? OK... get 'im back!

Yes and if form holds it will probably be during LSU.

Fortunately we have lots of power packages and hopefully Spavital has learned enough to recognize the need to go ersatz Arky if the situation calls for it. MSU ran up the gut for something like 300 yards the other day, their interior defense is... not great.

I think teams are going to start pressuring our WRs at the line and forcing him to beat them over the top. He's shown he's deadly accurate on the short to medium throws but has a little work to do going deep. I could see this giving us a little more trouble against an athletic secondary like OM or Bama. I don't see him having a game where he turns it over three or four times though.

No. We are A&M. The further our QB is from his senior year the better he is.

Who knows? But I really like what I've seen so far. He's also about to have a bailout weapon of massive proportions that the nation really knows little about: Mr. Cam Clear.

I just want him to chill and cut loose. My fear is that he will make a mistake and then nut up and compound the mistake.

I have no reservations. I think Sumlin gets it on every level and he's the perfect college coach.
