Curious had the kid looks with weeks worth of game planning and practice reps.

Yes. Y'all will not have the luxury of competing against Anthony Jennings in 2 weeks.

I will never disparage any player that puts on an LSU jersey, but I think most people see that AJ doesn't have "it." Harris, while young and very green, has that it factor that AJ doesn't -- I don't even know how to quantify it.

There was a noticeable difference in the team's demeanor when Harris went out; they seemed to play with more efficiency and enthusiasm. If it was up to me, I'd rather lose games this year and get Harris his reps, than lose games trying to make something work that clearly doesn't while Harris misses out on vital experience.

What will Les do this weekend?

Harris really needs to start. It's clear we aren't winning the west this year so give him the time to work out the growing pains. His upside is so much higher.

Hard to say. It is pretty clear that Harris is the future. The question is whether he is better than Jennings now. The season is not over for LSU with one loss. If we win the rest of our games, we still have a lot to play for.

The MSU game clouded the answer to the question above. Before the game, it was clear that Jennings was our best option. After the game, it appears that Harris may give us a better option.

IMO it will take one more loss for Les to go with Harris full time. I think that loss is coming on the Plains in two weeks. After that, I predict Harris gets the nod the rest of the way, and LSU steadily improves as a result, building for 2015.

Jennings will start Saturday.

From Les lunch conference today

Harris earned more playing time...a case for himself at QB...we'll take it seriously when there is seperation there it will be noticed accordingly

That means he'll get a few series.

Very strange if he is not.

Aside from the obvious talent, the kid just looked focused and very sure of himself out there - a natural leader-type guy too.
